About the Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Shannex Incorporated. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessing and planning resident care needs through consultation with medical professionals and care conferences;
- Providing leadership and oversight to health services staff, ensuring quality care and adherence to policies and procedures;
- Administering and recording prescribed medication according to company policy and scope of practice;
- Maintaining accurate and complete documentation and reporting;
- Applying dressings and treatments according to physician's orders and policy;
- Assisting with supervision and evaluation of job performance and behavior of other health care staff.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Active registration with the Association of New Brunswick Licensed Practical Nurses (ANBLPN);
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays;
- Valid CPR & First Aid or BLS Certification;
- Ability to provide a clear criminal record with vulnerable sector screening;
- Advanced proficiency in the English language, with proficiency in French considered an asset;
- Previous experience working with elderly in long-term care or senior living environments an asset;
- A passion for the healthcare sector and ensuring seniors have access to quality accommodations, services, and care.
