We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Continuing Care Assistant to join our team at Parkland Riverview - Monarch Hall in Riverview, New Brunswick.
As a Continuing Care Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and mobilizing, according to the work assignment. You will also collaborate with the resident and other members of the interdisciplinary team in the development of individualized Resident Care Plans.
Additional responsibilities include assisting with light housekeeping duties, performing delegated nursing acts according to company policy and scope of practice, and communicating and reporting relevant information regarding resident care or safety to Supervisor.
About YouWe are looking for a candidate who is able to work a schedule of flexible hours and shifts, inclusive of days, nights, weekends, and holidays. You must be available to work a minimum of 6 shifts per quarter and be willing to work all shift types and days of the week.
Requirements include a valid Personal Support Worker Acute Care diploma or Provincial Personal Care Worker course or equivalent, ability to provide a clear criminal record with vulnerable sector screening upon hire, and valid CPR & First Aid Certification or BLS.
