About the Role

Olympic Industries ULC is seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Web Developer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our company's web applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Develop website architecture, write, modify, integrate, and test software code to ensure high-quality and efficient web applications.
  • Software Maintenance: Maintain existing computer programs by making modifications as required to ensure they continue to meet the needs of our users.
  • Documentation: Prepare reports, manuals, and other documentation on the status, operation, and maintenance of software to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Requirements Gathering: Assist in the collection and documentation of user requirements to ensure our web applications meet the needs of our users.
  • Research and Evaluation: Research and evaluate a variety of software products to identify the best solutions for our company.
  • Testing and Quality Control: Conduct tests and perform security and quality controls to ensure our web applications meet the highest standards of quality and security.
  • Automation: Implement robotic process automation to improve efficiency and productivity.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience in software development, preferably in a full stack role.
Skills and Knowledge
  • Programming Languages: Proficiency in HTML, JavaScript, CSS, SQL, and API.
  • Frameworks and Libraries: Experience with React.js and other relevant frameworks and libraries.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Strong understanding of computer systems, software development methodologies, and technology trends.
