Job Title: Governors Council Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our Development team as a Governors Council Coordinator. This role will provide exceptional stewardship and cultivation support to our Governors Council members, ensuring timely and professional responses to their needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the day-to-day tasks related to the Governors Council, including gift management, recognition systems, and donor communications.
  • Work closely with the Manager, Governors Council, and Senior Development Officer to implement ongoing stewardship processes and ensure consistency in donor interactions.
  • Process donations, prepare tax receipts, and maintain accurate donor records.
  • Coordinate event logistics, including ticketing, catering, and venue setup, for Governors Council-related events.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to donors, responding to their inquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a high-performance fundraising environment, preferably in a theatre or arts organization.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with donors, staff, and volunteers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel, and experience with donor databases.
