About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) to join our team at Qwest Helicopters (2020) Ltd. as a Rotorcraft Aircraft Maintenance Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the airworthiness of our fleet by performing routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Maintain Aircraft Systems: Inspect structural and mechanical systems of aircraft to ensure compliance with Transport Canada and company standards.
  • Install and Modify Aircraft Components: Install or modify aircraft engines and mechanical, hydraulic, flight control, fuel, and pneumatic systems.
  • Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain detailed repair, inspection, and certification records and reports.
  • Airframe and Engine Maintenance: Dismantle airframes, aircraft engines, or other aircraft systems for repair, overhaul, and cleaning, and reassemble.
  • Routine Maintenance: Perform and document routine maintenance tasks.
  • Technical Interpretation: Interpret blueprints, specifications, standards, and written technical instructions.
Requirements
  • Certifications and Licenses: Hold an AME «M» Licence - Aircraft.
  • Aircraft Experience: Have experience with medium turbine helicopters and small turbine helicopters.
  • Industry Experience: Have experience in commercial air carrier, general aviation, and repair and overhaul facility settings.
  • Mechanical Maintenance and Repair Specialization: Have experience in aircraft maintenance - general and turbine engines.
  • Security and Safety: Be bondable and eligible for professional liability insurance.
  • Transportation and Travel: Hold a valid driver's licence and have own transportation.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Be physically demanding, handling heavy loads, standing for extended periods, and have attention to detail.
