Position: Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Rotorcraft)

Overview: We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Maintenance Engineer specializing in rotorcraft to ensure the safety and performance of our fleet.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of structural and mechanical systems of rotorcraft, ensuring compliance with Transport Canada regulations and company standards.
  • Install, modify, and maintain aircraft engines along with mechanical, hydraulic, flight control, fuel, and pneumatic systems.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of repairs, inspections, and certifications.
  • Dismantle and reassemble airframes and engines for maintenance and cleaning.
  • Perform routine maintenance and document all procedures accurately.
  • Interpret technical blueprints, specifications, and written instructions.

Qualifications:

  • Possession of an AME «M» Licence - Aircraft.

Experience:

  • Proficient in working with medium and small turbine helicopters.
  • Experience in commercial air carrier, general aviation, and repair facilities.
  • Specialization in aircraft maintenance and turbine engines.

Security and Safety:

  • Must be bondable and eligible for professional liability insurance.

Transportation Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license and own transportation are necessary.

Work Environment:

  • Physically demanding role involving handling heavy loads and standing for extended periods.
  • Attention to detail is crucial, along with the ability to bend, crouch, and kneel.

Eligibility:

Applicants must be Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or temporary residents with a valid Canadian work permit.

Compensation:

Salary ranges from $120,000 to $140,000 per year, based on experience, for a full-time position with flexible hours.
