Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Aircraft Maintenance Engineer specializing in rotorcraft to join our team at Qwest Helicopters (2020) Ltd.. This is a permanent position with a focus on ensuring the safety and performance of our aircraft.

Job Responsibilities
  • Conduct inspections of structural and mechanical systems of aircraft to ensure compliance with Transport Canada and company safety standards.
  • Install or modify aircraft engines and various mechanical systems including hydraulic, flight control, fuel, and pneumatic systems.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of repairs, inspections, and certifications.
  • Dismantle and reassemble airframes, engines, or other aircraft systems for maintenance and cleaning.
  • Perform and document routine maintenance tasks.
  • Interpret technical blueprints, specifications, and written instructions.
Certifications

Possession of an AME «M» Licence - Aircraft is essential.

Experience Requirements
  • Experience with medium and small turbine helicopters is preferred.
  • Background in commercial air carrier, general aviation, or repair and overhaul facilities is advantageous.
  • Specialization in aircraft maintenance, particularly with turbine engines.
Safety and Security
  • Must be bondable and eligible for professional liability insurance.
Transportation Requirements
  • Valid driver's license and own transportation are necessary.
  • Must have access to a personal vehicle.
Physical Demands
  • Ability to handle physically demanding tasks and heavy loads.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform tasks requiring bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination are essential.
