About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) to join our team at Qwest Helicopters (2020) Ltd. as a Rotorcraft Aircraft Maintenance Specialist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and maintain the structural and mechanical systems of aircraft to ensure compliance with Transport Canada and company standards.
  • Install, modify, and repair aircraft engines and mechanical, hydraulic, flight control, fuel, and pneumatic systems.
  • Maintain detailed records and reports of repairs, inspections, and certifications.
  • Dismantle and reassemble airframes, aircraft engines, and other aircraft systems for repair, overhaul, and cleaning.
  • Perform routine maintenance and document tasks.
  • Interpret blueprints, specifications, and written technical instructions.
Requirements
  • AME «M» Licence - Aircraft
  • Experience with medium turbine helicopters and small turbine helicopters.
  • Commercial air carrier, general aviation, and repair and overhaul facility experience.
  • Aircraft maintenance - general and turbine engines specialization.
  • Bondable and eligible for professional liability insurance.
  • Valid driver's licence and own transportation.
  • Physically demanding work environment with handling heavy loads, standing for extended periods, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, flexibility, initiative, reliability, and team player.
