Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) to join our team as a Rotorcraft Maintenance Professional. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the airworthiness of our fleet, performing routine maintenance, and adhering to Transport Canada and company standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Maintain Aircraft Systems

Inspect structural and mechanical systems of aircraft to ensure compliance with Transport Canada and company standards.

Install and Modify Aircraft Components

Install or modify aircraft engines and mechanical, hydraulic, flight control, fuel, and pneumatic systems.

Record Keeping and Reporting

Maintain detailed repair, inspection, and certification records and reports.

Aircraft Dismantling and Reassembly

Dismantle airframes, aircraft engines, or other aircraft systems for repair, overhaul, and cleaning, and reassemble.

Routine Maintenance

Perform and document routine maintenance tasks.

Technical Interpretation

Interpret blueprints, specifications, standards, and written technical instructions.

Requirements
  • Certifications and Licenses

AME «M» Licence - Aircraft.

Aircraft Experience

Medium turbine helicopter and small turbine helicopter experience.

Industry Experience

Commercial air carrier, general aviation, and repair and overhaul facility experience.

Mechanical Maintenance and Repair Specialization

Aircraft maintenance - general and turbine engines specialization.

Security and Safety

Bondable and eligible for professional liability insurance.

Transportation and Travel

Valid driver's licence, own transportation, and own vehicle.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

Physically demanding, handling heavy loads, standing for extended periods, attention to detail, bending, crouching, kneeling, and hand-eye coordination.

Personal Suitability

Accurate, dependability, excellent oral communication, excellent written communication, flexibility, initiative, reliability, and team player.
