The Salesforce functionalities we support span across various business functions including Marketing, Sales, Implementations, Account Management, Operations, and Support. Additionally, we have implemented an Omni Channel solution that is vital for our operations and customer interactions, utilizing Service Cloud and set to expand with Service Cloud Voice, Einstein, GPT, and integrations with other critical platforms. Key Responsibilities
- Salesforce Design and Development Oversight: Collaborate with Solution Architects and the Development team to provide comprehensive oversight, guidance, and governance encompassing frameworks, tools, strategies, optimization, and security.
- Salesforce Development: Utilize your expertise to architect, develop, test, and deploy Salesforce solutions that fulfill business requirements. Engage with stakeholders, including Business Analysts and Product Managers, to convert functional specifications into technical design documents.
- Transformation Projects: Actively engage in transformational initiatives aimed at enhancing processes and maximizing Salesforce capabilities. Your ability to pinpoint improvement areas and deliver solutions to tackle business challenges will be essential.
- Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC): Exhibit a thorough understanding of the SDLC by adhering to best practices throughout the development lifecycle. You will oversee code versioning, conduct code reviews, and ensure the quality and security of all Salesforce developments.
- Manage DevOps: Leverage your DevOps knowledge to integrate and oversee Salesforce deployments within the broader technology landscape. Collaborate with the Development team to optimize deployment processes, automate workflows, and ensure continuous integration and delivery.
- System Integration: Work alongside other development teams to integrate Salesforce with external systems and applications, ensuring seamless data exchange and system interoperability.
- Technical Support: Provide Level 3 technical support to our Level 1 and Level 2 support teams for more complex issues.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of technical specifications, configurations, and customizations to facilitate knowledge sharing and efficient project management.
- Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest Salesforce releases, features, and industry best practices to proactively suggest enhancements and innovative solutions.
Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
- Salesforce Certified Administrator.
- Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator.
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I.
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II.
- Extensive Experience: At least 5 years of hands-on experience in Salesforce development, focusing on customizations and complex projects.
- Transformation Projects: Proven experience in leading transformational projects and driving technical initiatives within Salesforce implementations.
- SDLC: In-depth knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle, including Agile methodologies.
- DevOps: Familiarity with DevOps principles, tools, and best practices for continuous integration and delivery.
- Integration Experience: Strong understanding of Salesforce integration patterns and technologies such as REST, SOAP, and middleware platforms.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Salesforce APIs. Experience with additional programming languages is advantageous.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Analytical mindset and robust problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues.
- Collaboration and Communication: Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, business stakeholders, and end users. Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and provide Level 3 support.
