About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Lead to join our team at Penningtons. As a Team Lead, you will play a key role in driving sales and profit growth, while ensuring exceptional customer service and a positive store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Store Operations: Ensure the store is achieving company objectives and KPI goals, including sales and profit targets.
  • Leadership and Development: Provide coaching, mentoring, and on-the-spot feedback to team members to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Merchandise and Visuals: Implement merchandise strategies and maintain a clean, consistent, and inviting store environment that inspires customers to shop.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Maintain an effective and open line of communication with the Store Manager and District Manager.
Requirements
  • Leadership Experience: At least 6 months of leadership and/or supervisory experience in a customer experience-based environment.
  • Team Management: Proven ability to mobilize a team towards a common goal.
  • Education: High School graduate or GED equivalent.
  • Adaptability and Multitasking: Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while committed to creating an amazing customer experience.
  • Availability: Ability to work evenings and weekends.
