Surgical Program Performance Analyst
Position Overview:
As a key player in the management of surgical wait times, you will provide essential guidance and leadership in optimizing processes. Your role will involve:
- Leading initiatives to manage and reduce surgical wait times effectively.
- Creating and updating performance metrics to track progress.
- Conducting thorough analyses of surgical access within the CISSS-CA, identifying gaps, and recommending actionable solutions.
- Ensuring the integrity of data in surgical waitlists and implementing necessary corrections.
- Generating various reports and statistics related to the surgical program.
- Performing quality audits to validate waitlist data accuracy.
- Designing and developing various digital tools to enhance operational efficiency.
- Engaging in continuous improvement projects to refine processes.
- Coordinating work committees as needed.
- Executing additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisors.
- Regularly validating and rectifying errors in the OPÉRA system.
- Analyzing surgical access disparities at regional, local, and specialty levels.
- Creating visual tools to effectively present waiting list data.
- Providing training to staff on the surgical waitlist management systems.
- Assisting teams in the effective use of the OPÉRA system.
- Supporting the development of a surgical priority modeling framework.
- Contributing to accountability and performance reporting.
- Delivering training sessions for OPÉRA users.
- Developing tools to ensure accurate data entry.
- Facilitating updates to the OPÉRA system.
- Collaborating on efforts to harmonize systems across departments.
- Proposing and regularly updating performance indicators.
- Creating a visual Power BI tool for regional surgery waitlist management.
- Providing timely surgical wait and production data as required.
- Assisting in the enhancement of the surgery program dashboard.
- Supporting service leaders in generating statistical reports.
