Position Overview:
- Lead initiatives to manage surgical wait times effectively and provide strategic guidance on their implementation.
- Create and maintain performance metrics, ensuring they are regularly updated.
- Evaluate surgical access within the CISSS de Chaudière-Appalaches, identify deficiencies, and recommend actionable solutions.
- Oversee the integrity of data in surgical waitlists, making necessary adjustments as required.
- Generate various reports and statistics related to the surgical program.
- Conduct thorough audits to ensure the validity of waitlist data.
- Design and develop various software tools to enhance operational efficiency.
- Engage in projects aimed at continuous improvement within the surgical domain.
- Facilitate work committees as needed.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
- Regularly validate and rectify discrepancies in the OPÉRA system.
- Investigate surgical access gaps at regional, local, and specialty levels.
- Create visual aids to represent waiting lists effectively.
- Provide training to staff on the surgical waitlist management systems.
- Assist teams in the effective use of the OPÉRA system.
- Contribute to the development of a surgical priority modeling framework.
- Support accountability reporting initiatives.
- Deliver training sessions for OPÉRA users.
- Develop tools to ensure accurate data entry.
- Aid in the updates of the OPÉRA system.
- Collaborate on efforts to harmonize systems across departments.
- Suggest and regularly update performance indicators.
- Create a visual Power BI dashboard for regional surgical waitlists.
- Provide on-demand data regarding surgical wait times and production.
- Assist in the enhancement of the surgical program dashboard.
- Support service leaders in generating statistical reports.
