Position Overview:
- Lead initiatives to manage surgical wait times effectively and provide expert guidance on operational usage.
- Establish and regularly update performance metrics.
- Assess surgical access within the CISSS de Chaudière-Appalaches, identify deficiencies, and recommend actionable solutions.
- Ensure the integrity of data in surgical waitlists and implement necessary corrections.
- Generate comprehensive data reports and statistics pertaining to the surgical program.
- Conduct thorough quality audits to validate waitlist data accuracy.
- Create and enhance various digital tools to support surgical program operations.
- Engage in projects aimed at continuous improvement.
- Facilitate work committees as required.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisors.
- Perform weekly validation and correction of errors in the OPÉRA system.
- Analyze gaps in surgical access across regional, local, and specialty levels.
- Develop visual aids to effectively represent waiting lists.
- Provide training to staff on the surgical waitlist management systems.
- Assist teams in utilizing the OPÉRA system efficiently.
- Support the creation of a surgical priority modeling framework.
- Contribute to accountability and performance reporting.
- Deliver training sessions for OPÉRA users.
- Design tools to ensure accurate data entry.
- Aid in the updates of the OPÉRA system.
- Collaborate on efforts to harmonize systems across departments.
- Propose and regularly update performance indicators.
- Develop a visual Power BI dashboard for regional surgical waitlists.
- Provide surgical wait and production data as needed.
- Assist in the enhancement of the surgical program dashboard.
- Support service leaders in generating statistical reports.
