About the Role
As a Surgical Program Analyst, you will play a vital role in optimizing surgical wait times and ensuring efficient access to care within the CISSS de Chaudière-Appalaches. You will be responsible for analyzing data, identifying trends, and developing solutions to improve the overall performance of the surgical program.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the management of surgical wait times and provide expert guidance on their utilization.
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Conduct in-depth analyses of surgical access across various regions, specialties, and service lines, identifying gaps and proposing actionable solutions.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data within the surgical waitlist system by conducting regular audits and implementing corrective measures.
- Generate comprehensive reports and visualizations to communicate program performance to stakeholders, including service chiefs and management.
- Collaborate with teams to implement continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing surgical program efficiency and patient experience.
- Provide training and support to staff on the use of surgical waitlist systems and data analysis tools.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of a robust surgical priority modeling system.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to improving healthcare outcomes. Experience with data analysis software and surgical waitlist systems is highly desirable.
