We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a vital role in supporting the growth and development of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement employee engagement and retention strategies to promote positive employee relations.
  • Support and strengthen the onboarding process for new employees, including updating content and delivering training.
  • Develop and deliver ongoing training for Fowler employees to identify trends and analyze gaps or areas for improvement.
  • Work to create a formalized mapping of sponsorship, mentorship, and succession planning within the organization.
  • Support team members with investigations, disciplinary actions, and terminations as needed.
  • Assist with managing and monitoring employee performance-related issues and with the performance review process.
  • Provide support with recruitment and selection efforts as needed, including job offers.
  • Accurately maintain HR administration, including updating employee profiles and contributing to the effective management of employee records.
  • Stay up-to-date on all HR-related federal and provincial regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate in the development and implementation of company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in an HR Generalist role is preferred.
  • Post-secondary education in HR Management or a related field is required.
  • Excellent judgment and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong computer skills in MS Office and previous experience with HRIS systems.
  • Knowledge and experience in developing HR policies and procedures.
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to deliver presentations.
  • Strong work ethic, self-motivated, and capable of taking on projects independently.
Work Conditions:
  • Interaction with others under varying circumstances, including situations of a highly sensitive nature.
  • Extended periods of sitting.
  • Busy office environment with frequent interruptions.
  • Laptop and mobile phone provided.
  • Travel to different locations may be required.
