Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivering patient care with enthusiasm, fostering personal connections at each visit.
  • Ensuring patients receive optimal hygiene treatments based on clinical evaluations and their oral health goals.
  • Passion for educating and enhancing our patients' well-being.
  • Gathering patients' dental and relevant medical histories for reference during assessments.
  • Preparing patients for orthodontic consultations.
  • Setting up patients and equipment for X-Rays.
  • Conducting X-Rays while adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Assessing gums for infections or periodontal diseases.
  • Cleaning teeth to eliminate plaque, followed by polishing and flossing.
  • Bonding and removing orthodontic brackets and appliances.
  • Placing and removing arch wires.
  • Educating patients on effective oral hygiene practices and treatment progress.
  • Updating patient records and examination notes accurately.
  • Performing all laboratory duties as directed by the orthodontic team.
  • Preparing and maintaining dental instruments, supplies, and equipment.
  • Conducting follow-up calls for patient aftercare and addressing inquiries.
  • Traveling to additional locations as necessary.
  • Maintaining a positive demeanor and collaborating effectively with team members to foster an environment of trust and respect.
  • Exhibiting high energy levels suitable for a dynamic work environment.

Qualifications:
  • Preferred 2+ years of experience as a Dental Hygienist.
  • Successful completion of a Dental Hygiene Diploma or Degree program.
  • Registered and/or licensed by the relevant dental hygiene regulatory authority, in good standing.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to make patients feel comfortable.
  • Strong time management and organizational abilities.
  • Experience in an orthodontic setting is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification.
