Key Responsibilities- Provide patient care and support in a friendly and approachable manner, building strong relationships with each patient.
- Conduct thorough examinations and provide personalized treatment plans to ensure optimal oral health.
- Educate patients on good oral hygiene habits and treatment progress.
- Prepare patients for X-Rays and take X-Rays as required.
- Clean and polish teeth, floss, and brush to maintain patient oral health.
- Bond and remove brackets and orthodontic appliances.
- Place and remove arch wires.
- Update patient records and examination notes.
- Perform lab duties and maintain dental instruments, supplies, and equipment.
- Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and leadership team.
- 2+ years' experience as a Dental Hygienist (preferred but not required).
- Successful completion of a Dental Hygiene Diploma or Hygiene Degree program.
- Registered and/or licensed by the dental hygiene regulatory authority within province, in good standing.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Great time management and organizational skills.
- Current CPR and First Aid training.
