As a ServiceNow Development Specialist, you will engage with clients, business analysts, and team members to thoroughly understand the organizational requirements that inform the analysis, design, development, configuration, support, and deployment of ServiceNow solutions. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement consulting and technical methodologies related to the ServiceNow platform in collaboration with the development team.
- Utilize your expertise to deliver comprehensive methodologies within ServiceNow, including the architectural implementation of IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) processes and managing development priorities.
- Create custom ServiceNow applications utilizing modern web technologies.
- Configure standard workflows and develop/maintain custom workflows.
- Set up application-related fields, forms, views, email notifications, acceptance roles, and access controls.
- Integrate ServiceNow applications with external systems via APIs.
- Rapidly prototype new solutions to showcase ServiceNow capabilities to stakeholders.
- Design, configure, develop, and test on the ServiceNow platform, including but not limited to Customer Service Management (CSM), Service Request (creating catalog items and workflows), Incident Management, Problem Management, and Change Management.
- Develop and test custom ServiceNow forms, tables, and workflows based on business requirements.
- Support the team responsible for the implementation and administration of the ServiceNow installation, including managing system configurations, gathering and documenting user and process requirements, developing workflow customizations, and conducting quality assurance and user acceptance testing.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
- 10 years of experience in Software Development.
- 4 years of experience with HTML5, JAVA, JavaScript, jQuery, and CSS.
- Proficiency in building reports, dashboards, and homepages using ServiceNow or similar technologies.
- Experience administering a ServiceNow instance, including group delegation, CMS modifications, workflows, business rules, UI actions, UI policies, ACLs, dictionaries, catalog items, and updates to existing solutions.
- Experience integrating ServiceNow with external systems through REST APIs.
- Familiarity with the ServiceNow Studio IDE.
- Experience using the Workflow Editor for workflow configuration.
- ITIL Foundations certification is preferred.
