We are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow Architecture Specialist to join our Global IT Infrastructure team at CAE. As a key member of our technology business transformation, you will be responsible for designing and implementing ServiceNow solutions that meet the unique needs of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions leveraging the ServiceNow platform.
- Design ServiceNow solutions across key modules such as SecOps, ITAM, ITSM, AppEngine and ITOM, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and standards.
- Provide expertise in configuring and optimizing ServiceNow modules to meet security and operational requirements.
- Lead and provide specialized technical guidance for the development and customization of ServiceNow applications, workflows, forms, and integrations.
- Drive the implementation of ITIL processes and practices within the ServiceNow platform.
- Conduct technical assessments, reviews, and audits to ensure the quality and integrity of ServiceNow implementations.
- Stay updated on emerging ServiceNow technologies, features and industry trends, providing recommendations for continuous improvement and innovation.
- Collaborate with solution and application architect teams to maximize benefits leveraging the ServiceNow platform, automation and integration capabilities as part of their technical roadmaps.
- Participate in pre-sales activities including module demonstrations, scoping, and proposal development.
- Provide technical oversight of managed services partner development, including assessment of ServiceNow skill and capability gaps to ensure contractual commitments are met.
- Participate in platform governance activities such as evaluating enhancement requests and periodic review with the ITAM team on optimum utilization of ServiceNow licenses.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and optimize platform performance.
- University degree in computer science or equivalent.
- At least eight years' experience in IT and three to five years' experience in solution or project architecture.
- Personal motivation, energy, team player, and results-oriented approach.
- Ability to work in a collaborative matrix environment.
- Experience working with system integrators or in the implementation of supplier products an asset.
- Good understanding of networking principles.
- Ability to work with the cybersecurity team through knowledge of cybersecurity principles and their impact on the solution architecture.
- Solid understanding of web application architecture and design principles.
- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (Microsoft Azure, AWS, etc.) required.
- Motivated by continuous learning and ability to learn quickly about new technologies.
- Experience in developing solutions in heterogeneous and hybrid application environments.
- Good knowledge of the IT application development life cycle.
- Exposure to multiple and diverse technologies and processing environments.
- Bilingualism (French and English) required.
