Restaurant Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Subway (Saskatoon). As a key member of our restaurant operations team, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of our food service staff, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food products.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Coordinate Food Service Staff: Oversee the preparation and portioning of food, ensuring that all food safety and sanitation procedures are followed.
- Train and Develop Staff: Provide on-the-job training and coaching to our food service staff, focusing on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Estimate and Manage Inventory: Accurately estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring that our restaurant is well-stocked and prepared for customer demand.
- Lead by Example: Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills, ensuring that our customers receive a positive experience every time they visit our restaurant.
- Manage Schedules and Reports: Create and manage work schedules, ensuring that our staff are adequately staffed to meet customer demand. Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and other key performance indicators.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service supervisory role.
- Work Setting: Restaurant environment, with a focus on fast-paced and dynamic customer service.
- Supervision: 5-10 people, including cooks, food and beverage servers, food service counter attendants, and kitchen and food service helpers.
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, flexibility, and a strong team player mentality.
