Job Title: Guest Service Agent

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Guest Service Agent to join our team at Towne Place Suites in Kanata. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a positive and memorable experience during their stay.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide warm and friendly service to guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage guest check-ins and check-outs, handling room assignments, key cards, and other related tasks.
  • Process payments, handle cash and credit transactions, and maintain accurate records.
  • Respond to guest inquiries, provide information about hotel services and amenities, and make recommendations to enhance their stay.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, ensuring a welcoming and efficient environment for guests.
Requirements:
  • Previous customer service experience, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and colleagues.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel property management systems.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
