Position Overview

As an Assistant Manager at Norm's Pizza, you will play a vital role in overseeing daily operations within our vibrant dining establishment. This permanent position requires a commitment of 40 hours per week and is conducted in English.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 1 to 2 years in a similar role

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and implement service offerings and operational protocols
  • Manage cash flow and complete financial reports
  • Conduct staff performance evaluations
  • Organize and oversee inventory management
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
  • Contribute to marketing strategies and execution
  • Address and resolve customer inquiries and complaints
  • Train employees on job responsibilities and safety practices
  • Supervise food preparation and portioning activities
  • Compile food order summaries for the chef
  • Prepare and submit operational reports
  • Develop budgets and cost projections
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and waste
  • Establish efficient work schedules
  • Ensure food quality and service standards are met
  • Recruit food service personnel
  • Plan, organize, direct, and evaluate daily operations
Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Oversee a team of 5-10 staff members
  • Manage working groups across various responsibilities
  • Supervise cooks and kitchen staff
