Position Overview

The Assistant Manager at Mama's Restaurant plays a crucial role in overseeing daily operations and ensuring a high standard of service. This permanent position requires a commitment of 35 hours per week and proficiency in English.

Job Responsibilities
  • Financial Management: Analyze and develop budgets to enhance profitability, ensuring effective cost management for food, beverages, and supplies.
  • Operational Oversight: Evaluate and modify daily operations, including food preparation methods and pricing strategies.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of 5-10 staff members, setting work schedules and conducting performance reviews.
  • Customer Service: Address customer inquiries and complaints, ensuring a positive dining experience.
  • Inventory Control: Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Supplier Negotiation: Negotiate terms with suppliers for food and other necessary items.
  • Marketing Participation: Engage in marketing initiatives to promote the restaurant's offerings.
Qualifications

Candidates should possess a secondary school graduation certificate and have 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar role. Familiarity with MS Office is essential.

Work Environment

This role requires working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to handle tight deadlines and repetitive tasks. Candidates should be prepared for a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, as well as lifting heavy loads.
