Restaurant Operations Manager

Mama's Restaurant is seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our restaurant, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of 5-10 staff members.
Key Responsibilities- Service Development
- Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures to meet customer demands.
- Financial Management
- Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms to ensure accurate financial records.
- Performance Management
- Conduct regular performance reviews to assess staff performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Regulatory Compliance
- Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Inventory Management
- Organize and maintain inventory levels to minimize waste and optimize stock levels.
- Health and Safety
- Ensure health and safety regulations are followed to maintain a safe working environment.
- Supply Chain Management
- Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Marketing and Promotion
- Participate in marketing plans and implementation to promote the restaurant and attract new customers.
- Customer Service
- Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Operational Planning
- Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- 5-10 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
- College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
