About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Installation Specialist to join our team at AKS Investment Ltd. as a key member of our construction team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cut and Install Metal Corner Beads: Protect exterior corners with precision and attention to detail.
  • Fabricate and Install Suspended Metal Ceiling Grids: Create acoustical and coffered ceilings that exceed expectations.
  • Fill Joints and Nail Indentations: Use joint compound to fill holes and cracks with ease.
  • Finish Corners and Angles: Create decorative designs in the finish coat with precision.
  • Mix Plaster Ingredients: Achieve the perfect consistency for a flawless finish.
  • Tape Over Joints: Embed tape in compound with ease.
  • Install Acoustic Tile and Hangers: Create a seamless and professional finish.
  • Install Exterior and Interior Steel Studs: Ensure a sturdy and secure structure.
  • Install Metal Stud Framing and Furring: Create a solid foundation for interior drywall or plaster walls and ceilings.
  • Install Vapour Barriers and Thermal and Sound Insulation: Ensure a comfortable and energy-efficient environment.
  • Work at Heights: Safely navigate scaffolding and swing stages with confidence.
  • Erect and Install Scaffolding: Create a safe and stable working platform.
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in drywall installation.
  • Permanent employment with a standard 40-hour workweek.
  • Fluency in English as the primary language of communication.
