YM Inc. is currently seeking a Junior Graphic Designer to join our dynamic team.

Role Overview: As a Junior Graphic Designer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our design team. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Design Assistance: Collaborate in research and help conceptualize designs, focusing on typography and color theory for both in-store and digital platforms.
  • Innovative Thinking: Bring fresh ideas and creative solutions to the table, utilizing industry research and trends to enhance our visual communications.
  • Creative Production: Contribute to the creation of in-store visuals, seasonal marketing materials, promotional content, packaging, and digital assets.
  • Attention to Detail: Ensure adherence to brand standards by editing and proofreading designs, and assisting in the layout of presentations and mockups.
  • Team Collaboration: Engage in brainstorming sessions for campaigns and design concepts, providing constructive feedback on visual content.
  • Organizational Skills: Maintain an organized archive of creative files and manage the submission of print-ready files to vendors.

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education in Graphic Design is required.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat), QuarkXPress, and Microsoft Office is preferred.
  • Understanding of business concepts and consumer trends.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A genuine passion for fashion and design.
