Position Overview:
We are seeking an Assistant Buyer with an Eye for the Latest Trends to join our team. As a key member of our buying team, you will be responsible for utilizing your knowledge of current market trends to create trend reports, creating purchase orders and managing pricing, communicating and creating valuable partnerships with international suppliers and vendors, and data pull for meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize market research and trend analysis to inform buying decisions
- Create and manage purchase orders and pricing strategies
- Develop and maintain relationships with international suppliers and vendors
- Provide data and insights to support business decisions
Requirements:
- 1 year of experience in Fashion Merchandising or Retail Fashion
- Strong knowledge of current market trends and fashion industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
