Food Service Team Lead

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Subway Sandwiches and Salads. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that our customers receive high-quality food and service.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet customer demand.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food preparation staff, ensuring that food is prepared and served in a timely and safe manner.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and healthy work environment.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
- Hire and train new staff members to ensure a smooth transition into the team.
- Monitor and maintain quality control standards, ensuring that our food and service meet the highest standards.
- Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Standing for extended periods.
- Client focus, flexibility, and teamwork skills.
- Support for newcomers and refugees with foreign credential recognition.
- On-the-job training tailored to youth.
- Mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers.
- Applying hiring policies that discourage discrimination against members of visible minorities.
