About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Seasonal Customer Experience Representative. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and promoting a positive and engaging store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create a Welcoming Store Environment: Develop and maintain a warm and inviting atmosphere in our stores, ensuring that customers feel valued and supported.
  • Add Value to Customer Interactions: Leverage your product knowledge and sales skills to add value to customer interactions, building strong relationships and driving sales growth.
  • Curate Product Collections: Curate specific product collections for each customer, providing personalized recommendations and driving sales growth.
  • Ensure Visual Standards: Maintain high visual standards in the store, ensuring that merchandise is displayed in an attractive and appealing manner.
  • Role Model Indigo's High Performance Characteristics: Demonstrate Indigo's High Performance Characteristics, including adaptability, flexibility, and a willingness to learn and grow.
  • Seek Information and Feedback: Stay up-to-date on new products, promotions, and programs, and seek feedback from customers and colleagues to continuously improve the customer experience.
  • Contribute to a Safe and Healthy Work Environment: Contribute to an environment where everyone knows their health and safety is a top priority, and where everyone actively participates in ensuring the health and safety of each other and our customers.
  • Respond to Customer Feedback: Respond to customer feedback in a timely and professional manner, ensuring that customer concerns are addressed and resolved.
  • Hold Self and Others Accountable: Hold self and others accountable for delivering exceptional customer experiences and maintaining high visual standards.
  • Own Self-Development: Own self-development and provide continuous feedback to colleagues and leadership team.
  • Share Ideas for Improvement: Share ideas with leadership team on how to improve the employee and customer experience.
Requirements
  • Experience in Specialty Retail or Retail Environment: Experience in specialty retail or a retail environment preferred but not required.
  • Adaptability and Flexibility: Adaptability, flexibility, and a willingness to learn new things and be exposed to all aspects of the store.
  • Commitment to Exceptional Customer Experience: Demonstrated commitment to creating an exceptional employee and customer experience.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods of time, and ability to lift medium to large items, up to 40 pounds, while using appropriate equipment and safety techniques.
  • Availability: Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, overnights, and early mornings (if required for the role).
  • Bilingualism: Bilingualism (French/English) is required for all positions in Québec; other languages an asset.
