About the Role

Cineplex is seeking a dynamic and charismatic individual to join our team as a VIP Experience Ambassador. As a key member of our luxury service team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences in our VIP lounges and auditoriums.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Interactions - Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, setting the tone for a personalized VIP experience.
  • Service Environment - Prepare the service environment by setting tables, laying out napkins and utensils, and ensuring condiments are refilled.
  • Food and Beverage Service - Serve food and drinks to guests seated in the lounge and auditoriums, as required.
  • Menu Expertise - Stay updated on current menu options, specialties, and menu deviations, and share in-depth menu expertise with guests to promote products and services.
  • Workspace Maintenance - Maintain a clean and well-organized service area, washing glassware and utensils after each use, and performing basic cleaning tasks as needed.
  • Service Standards - Utilize training from Smart Serve Ontario to determine if a guest has been over-served alcohol.
Requirements
  • Positive Attitude - A positive, enthusiastic, and professional attitude, with excellent communication skills.
  • Server Experience - Proven experience working as a server in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer Service - Superior understanding of hospitality and customer service, with a proven ability to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
  • Problem-Solving - Proven problem-solving and quick thinking skills in fast-paced situations.
  • Math Skills - Math skills and computer literacy.
  • Language Skills - Knowledge of a second language is considered a plus.
  • Physical Demands - Extended periods of time standing, walking, bending, carrying, and assisting with bartending tasks.
  • Schedule - A flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Certification - Need to have acquired your Smart Serve certification.
