Job Title: Concrete Finisher

Job Summary:

Promax Concrete Ltd. is seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team. As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finish on our concrete projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement: Utilize your expertise to achieve a smooth and even finish on our concrete surfaces.
  • Operate power vibrators to compact concrete: Ensure that our concrete is properly compacted to meet the highest standards of quality.
  • Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification: Use your attention to detail to ensure that our concrete surfaces are perfectly level and meet the required specifications.
  • Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages: Demonstrate your ability to work safely at heights and in challenging environments.
  • Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools: Utilize your skills and expertise to achieve the desired finish on our concrete surfaces.
  • Instruct apprentices: Share your knowledge and experience with our apprentices to help them develop their skills.
  • Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces: Use your knowledge of concrete to apply the necessary hardening and sealing components to ensure a durable finish.
  • Repair, resurface and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures: Demonstrate your ability to repair and restore concrete structures to their original condition.
  • Estimate costs and materials: Use your knowledge of concrete and construction to estimate the costs and materials required for our projects.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications: Use your analytical skills to read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications to ensure that our projects meet the required standards.

Requirements:

  • Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
