Position Summary

As a Payroll Implementation Data Analyst, your main duty will be to scrutinize and interpret data pertinent to the rollout of a new payroll system. You will collaborate closely with the project team to collect and verify data, execute data cleansing and transformation, and deliver insights and recommendations based on your findings.

Primary Responsibilities


• Collaborate with the project team to comprehend data requirements for the payroll system rollout.

• Collect, validate, and analyze data from diverse sources, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.

• Execute data cleansing and transformation to guarantee data consistency and integrity.

• Create and maintain data models, reports, and dashboards to visualize and present data analysis results.

• Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data, providing insights and recommendations to enhance payroll processes.

• Work closely with stakeholders to understand their data analysis needs and offer tailored reports and analysis.

• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure data integration and migration from legacy systems to the new payroll platform.

• Conduct data validation and reconciliation to ensure data accuracy and consistency across various systems.

• Assist in developing and implementing data quality control measures to uphold data integrity.

• Stay informed about industry best practices and trends in data analysis and incorporate them into the payroll implementation process.

Essential Qualifications


• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

• Demonstrated experience as a data analyst or in a similar capacity, preferably within the payroll sector.

• Strong proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as SQL, Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.

• Excellent skills in data manipulation and cleansing.

• Familiarity with database management systems, data warehousing, and data integration concepts.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Ability to interpret complex data and present insights clearly and concisely.

• High attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis.

• Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.

• Knowledge of payroll processes, systems, and compliance requirements is advantageous.
