Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team at Pleasant Street Real Estate Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily office operations, managing administrative tasks, and supporting various departments within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement new administrative procedures to improve efficiency and productivity
  • Review and evaluate existing administrative procedures to ensure they are effective and up-to-date
  • Delegate work to office support staff and establish clear work priorities
  • Ensure that administrative tasks are completed on time and to a high standard
  • Administer policies and procedures related to the release of records and government access to information and privacy legislation
  • Coordinate and plan for office services such as accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance, and security services
  • Assist in the preparation of the operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls
  • Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals, and correspondence
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate records
  • Oversee and coordinate office administrative procedures to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
  • Resolve conflict situations and provide excellent customer service
  • Monitor and evaluate administrative processes to identify areas for improvement
  • Oversee payroll administration and ensure accurate and timely payment
Requirements:
  • Proven experience working in an administrative role with a strong understanding of office procedures
  • Strong proficiency in ADP for payroll processing and other administrative software
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects
  • Ability to manage a team and lead projects with a focus on results and customer satisfaction
  • Knowledge of human resources processes and procedures is an asset
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with vendors, staff, and management
Education and Certifications:
  • Secondary School diploma or equivalent is preferred
Language:
  • English is the primary language required for this role
Pay and Benefits:

$27.00 per hour
