Join the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) as a Research Scientist in Translational Neuroscience. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced researcher to lead our translational neuroscience program, focusing on the neurobiological bases of psychiatric/neurological disorders and treatments.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and carry out a sustained and consistent program of research in translational neuroscience
- Lead all aspects of research projects, including securing and managing extramural funding sources
- Establish local, national, and international collaborations
- Provide practical supervision of undergraduate, graduate, and post-graduate trainees, as well as technical staff
- Ph.D. in Health Sciences with 3 years of post-doctoral experience in neuroscience research
- Expertise in preclinical or translational neuroscience, or both
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to cultivate internal and external relationships
