Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Tim Horton. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and dining areas.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish Methods to Meet Work Schedules: Develop and implement efficient methods to meet work schedules, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
- Requisition Food and Kitchen Supplies: Source and procure high-quality food and kitchen supplies, ensuring that our menu offerings are consistently fresh and appealing.
- Supervise and Coordinate Activities of Staff: Lead and motivate a team of staff members, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet our high standards.
- Train Staff in Job Duties, Sanitation, and Safety Procedures: Provide comprehensive training to staff members on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that they are equipped to perform their roles safely and effectively.
- Estimate Ingredient and Supplies Required for Meal Preparation: Accurately estimate the quantity of ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, minimizing waste and ensuring that we have sufficient stock to meet demand.
- Ensure Food and Service Meet Quality Control Standards: Monitor and maintain high standards of food quality and service, ensuring that our customers receive an exceptional dining experience.
- Maintain Records of Stock, Repairs, Sales, and Wastage: Accurately record and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights to inform our business decisions.
- Prepare Food Order Summaries for Chef: Prepare detailed summaries of food orders for our chef, ensuring that they have the information they need to prepare high-quality meals.
- Supervise and Check Assembly of Trays: Supervise and check the assembly of trays, ensuring that they are presented to our customers in a clean and appealing manner.
- Supervise and Check Delivery of Food Trolleys: Supervise and check the delivery of food trolleys, ensuring that they are delivered to our customers in a timely and efficient manner.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Repetitive tasks
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, Efficient interpersonal skills, Team player, Organized
