Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Tim Horton. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish Methods to Meet Work Schedules: Develop and implement efficient methods to meet work schedules, ensuring that our food service team is well-prepared to meet customer demand.
  • Requisition Food and Kitchen Supplies: Source and procure high-quality food and kitchen supplies, ensuring that our inventory is well-stocked and up-to-date.
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities of Staff: Lead and motivate our food service team, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet customer needs.
  • Train Staff in Job Duties, Sanitation, and Safety Procedures: Provide comprehensive training to our food service team, ensuring that they are knowledgeable about our policies and procedures.
  • Estimate Ingredient and Supplies Required for Meal Preparation: Conduct thorough inventory checks to ensure that we have sufficient ingredients and supplies to meet customer demand.
  • Ensure Food and Service Meet Quality Control Standards: Monitor and maintain high-quality food and service standards, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional dining experiences.
  • Maintain Records of Stock, Repairs, Sales, and Wastage: Accurately record and maintain inventory levels, ensuring that we are aware of any stock discrepancies or issues.
  • Prepare Food Order Summaries for Chef: Compile and present detailed summaries of food orders, ensuring that our chef is well-informed and prepared to meet customer demand.
  • Supervise and Check Assembly of Trays: Oversee the assembly of trays, ensuring that they are accurately prepared and presented to customers.
  • Supervise and Check Delivery of Food Trolleys: Monitor the delivery of food trolleys, ensuring that they are accurately prepared and presented to customers.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Repetitive tasks
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, Efficient interpersonal skills, Team player, Organized
