Job Title: Machine Shop Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Machine Shop Supervisor to join our team at All can Doors & Hardware Inc.

Job Summary:

The Machine Shop Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our machine shop, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. This includes supervising a team of 5-10 employees, coordinating activities, and ensuring health and safety regulations are followed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Estimate costs and materials for projects
  • Operate CADD and other computer software systems
  • Prepare bids and production reports
  • Co-ordinate and schedule activities
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies
  • Set up machines and equipment
  • Supervise workers and projects
  • Use computer numerical control (CNC) machines
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Or equivalent experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Organized and able to work under pressure
Working Conditions:
  • Shopwork environment
  • 40 hours per week
  • Own vehicle required
