About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Deskside Analyst to join our team at Hire Intellect. As a Deskside Analyst, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our clients, ensuring their hardware and software needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert-level technical support for desktop hardware and software applications.
  • Administer and support computer end-user devices in a large complex environment.
  • Troubleshoot and manage file and print services.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with clients, producing written technical material that is concise and grammatically correct.
  • Fluency in both French and English is required, with strong verbal and written skills.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manage and support end-user devices, including laptops, desktops, rugged tablets, mobile phones, and printers.
  • Provide Tier 2 support, including dedicated walk-up support to end-users.
  • Image and deploy new computers/laptops, and install various software applications.
  • Record all inventory incidents/service request ticket updates into our incident management system.
  • Meet with clients to discuss technical issues and provide solutions.
Requirements
  • 12 years of previous Deskside experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in both French and English.
  • Diploma or Certificate within the scope of Information Technology or High School diploma combined with years of experience in a Deskside support role.
  • CompTIA A or equivalent experience.
  • Good communication, time management, and mathematical skills.
  • Dependable and reliable.
  • Attention to detail and documentation.
  • Basic knowledge of desktops, laptops, printers, tablets, mobile phones, and computer-related peripherals.
  • Clean criminal record and driving abstract.
Nice to Have
  • Meeting Room support experience would be an asset.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Teams and Teams Telephony would be a significant asset.
