At PeopleToGo, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deskside Support professional to join our team.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a technical expert to provide intermediate IMAC activities, software installation and support, and deskside support services. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of field service experience, strong internetworking and troubleshooting skills, and A+ certification.
Responsibilities:
- Perform intermediate IMAC activities, including hardware roll-outs, refreshes, and other deployment related activities.
- Handle software installation and support, including troubleshooting and upgrades.
- Provide deskside support services, including installing and troubleshooting hardware, software, and network related issues.
- Provide 1st level Help Desk support and respond to customer inquiries.
- Perform basic LAN and internetworking related activities, including bench repairs and remedial maintenance.
- Communicate with customers to diagnose problems, establish E.T.A., and parts requirements.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of field service experience.
- Strong internetworking and troubleshooting skills.
- A+ certification.
- May have other vendor certifications from Cisco, Microsoft, and/or OEMs (Dell, Toshiba, Lenovo, HP).
- Self-starter with ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to complete tasks effectively with minimal supervision.
- Must be available to work flexible work schedules.
- Minimum of a Diploma from a recognized IT program.
