Job Title: Deskside Support

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deskside Support professional to join our team at PeopleToGo. As a Deskside Support specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our clients, ensuring that their hardware and software needs are met.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform intermediate IMAC activities, including hardware roll-outs, refreshes, and other deployment related activities on PCs, laptops, printers, and other devices.
  • Handle software installation, support, and upgrades.
  • Provide deskside support services, installing and troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Offer 1st level Help Desk support, responding to and resolving technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Perform basic LAN and internetworking related activities, ensuring that our clients' networks are running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Handle bench repairs and remedial maintenance, ensuring that our clients' hardware and software are in good working order.
  • Communicate with clients to diagnose problems, establish E.T.A.s, and parts requirements.

Requirements:

  • At least 1-2 years of field service experience in hardware roll-outs, refreshes, and other deployment related activities.
  • At least 1-2 years of deskside support experience.
  • Strong internetworking and troubleshooting skills.
  • A+ certification.
  • May have other vendor certifications from Cisco, Microsoft, and/or OEMs (Dell, Toshiba, Lenovo, HP).
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and good communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Ability to complete tasks effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Must be available to work flexible work schedules.
  • Minimum of a Diploma from a recognized IT program.
