Executive Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at QJD PekingDuck Restaurant (Mississauga) Ltd. as a key member of our culinary team.
Key Responsibilities- Menu Development: Create new and innovative recipes that showcase our restaurant's commitment to quality and excellence.
- Chef Supervision: Lead and mentor a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure seamless execution of menu items and exceptional customer service.
- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events such as banquets, weddings, and other functions.
- Client Consultation: Consult with clients to understand their needs and preferences, and provide personalized menu recommendations.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all food meets our high standards of quality, presentation, and taste.
- Staff Training: Train and educate kitchen staff on new recipes, cooking techniques, and food safety protocols.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but a strong passion for cooking and a willingness to learn are essential.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Work Setting: Our restaurant is a dynamic and fast-paced environment, and the ideal candidate will be able to work well under pressure and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
