Executive Chef

We are seeking a highly experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team at Eat Canada Inc., a renowned restaurant specializing in Mediterranean cuisine. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the food preparation and cooking activities of multiple restaurants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Menu Planning and Execution: Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the expectations of our discerning customers.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of specialist chefs, cooks, and kitchen workers to ensure seamless food preparation and presentation.
  • Food Cost Management: Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory to optimize our culinary budget.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all dishes meet our high standards of quality, presentation, and taste.
  • Staff Development: Provide ongoing training and coaching to our kitchen staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team of culinary professionals.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with staff, management, and customers.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Culinary Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Mediterranean cuisine and menu planning.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
