We are seeking a highly skilled Claims Registration Clerk to join our team at WorkplaceNL. As a critical member of our Claims Services Department, you will play a key role in representing our organization as the first point of contact for injured workers, employers, and healthcare providers.
Key Responsibilities- Client Communication: Advise workers and employers on the processes required to file a claim with WorkplaceNL when an injury occurs, and educate them on the completion of the necessary forms.
- Information Gathering: Obtain accurate information from injured workers, employers, and healthcare providers, and enter it into the claim data set on the CR System.
- Decision-Making: Exercise discretion and decision-making abilities in determining whether a recurrence of a claim should be registered as a recurrence or reinstatement.
- Education: A two-year diploma in Business Administration or equivalent.
- Experience: Two years of relevant experience in a client-centered team environment.
- Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to organize and prioritize a large workload.
- Knowledge: Knowledge of WorkplaceNL's legislation, policies, and procedures would be considered an asset.
