About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Pizza Depot. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our restaurant, including supervising staff, managing inventory, and maintaining high standards of customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet customer demand.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Reporting and Record-Keeping: Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and customer feedback, and maintain accurate records of staff performance and customer interactions.
  • Team Leadership: Establish work schedules, train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and provide guidance and support to ensure that staff are working effectively and efficiently.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service or restaurant environment.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, standing for extended periods, and physically demanding tasks.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, excellent oral communication, flexibility, team player, initiative, dependability, judgement, reliability, and organized.
