About the Role

Dyno Nobel is a global leader in the commercial explosives industry, providing innovative blasting solutions and quality explosives products. We are seeking a highly skilled Site Supervisor to join our team at our mining facility near Wawa, ON.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver Dyno Nobel's Zero Harm safety program and financial objectives
  • Ensure company policies, safe work practices, and standard operating procedures are up-to-date and followed
  • Implement blasting SOPs and ExMS
  • Compile blast reports and assist with blast site hazard assessments
  • Communicate with the blast crew and ensure a safe work environment
  • Manage equipment maintenance and adhere to regulations
  • Time and payroll management

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in Drilling, Blasting, Mining, or Mineral resources or similar Project Management Education
  • Project management experience with a focus on Open Pit Mining desired
  • 3+ years experience in Project Management/ Mining/ Drill and Blast
  • Good knowledge of MS Office and SAP
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
