Pizza Depot Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Pizza Depot. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Train Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that all employees are equipped to provide excellent service and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have sufficient stock to meet customer demand.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, providing a positive and welcoming experience for all patrons.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for management and future planning.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit reports, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
Work Environment:

Our restaurant is a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring a high level of organization and attention to detail. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be required to stand for extended periods and work in a physically demanding environment.

Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
