Pizza Depot Food Service Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Pizza Depot. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Prepare and submit reports
  • Establish work schedules
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service environment
  • Excellent oral communication and client focus skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Physical demands include standing for extended periods and working in a noisy environment
