Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Site Supervisor to join our team at our mining facility in Ontario. As a Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our blasting operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement safe work practices and procedures to ensure a zero-harm work environment.
- Manage and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Conduct regular hazard assessments and implement controls to mitigate risks.
- Communicate effectively with the blast crew and other stakeholders to ensure a safe and efficient operation.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Manage time and payroll for the blast crew.
Requirements
- Post-secondary education in a related field, such as drilling, blasting, mining, or mineral resources.
- 3+ years of experience in project management or a related field.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively and lead a team.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office and SAP.
