Job Title: Senior Policy Analyst

Join the Government of Nunavut as a Senior Policy Analyst and play a key role in shaping the future of housing in Nunavut.

About the Role

The Senior Policy Analyst will work closely with the Director, Policy and Strategic Planning to develop, coordinate, and manage strategic planning, policies, and procedures for the Nunavut Housing Corporation. This position requires a strong understanding of housing markets, policy analysis, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and review guidelines, policies, and legislation related to housing and community development.
  • Produce high-quality briefing materials for senior officials and stakeholders.
  • Liaise with national, provincial, and territorial governments, Inuit organizations, and other housing stakeholders.
  • Coordinate divisional involvement with Government of Nunavut departments and other agencies in developing interdepartmental initiatives.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a degree in a field such as Social Sciences, Communications, Economics, Business, or Public Administration, with a minimum of three years of experience in developing and analyzing public policy and programs. Experience in a large organization or government setting, as well as experience supervising and leading work assignments, are considered assets.
